The Art Canada Institute launches!
On a cold November evening, art lovers gathered to celebrate the future of Canadian art history
The mood was merry as the Art Canada Institute—the first comprehensive online organization dedicated to the promotion of Canadian art history—launched at Massey College in Toronto. Speeches were given and drinks were poured as a collection of artists, scholars, and art lovers celebrated the ACI’s birth. The ACI debuted Jack Chambers: Life and Work by Mark Cheetham, the Institute’s first free online art book.
