Norval Morrisseau and the McMichael
New exhibit explores artist’s relationship with the gallery
The McMichael Canadian Art Collection presents Morrisseau at the McMichael, an exhibition dedicated to Indigenous artist Norval Morrisseau. The exhibit explores his close working relationship with the McMichael and displays works commissioned by the gallery in 1979, during the Anishinaabe artist’s three week residency in the Tom Thomson Shack. The show runs until August 20, 2017. Read more about the exhibit here.
