Founder and Executive Director of the Art Canada Institute
Get to know the stories behind three extraordinary Canadian artists who have all been the subjects of recent Art Canada Institute books: the famed Montreal multimedia artist Betty Goodwin (1923-2008); the groundbreaking early twentieth-century photographer Margaret Watkins (1884-1969); and Doris McCarthy (1910-2010); the revered landscape painter and teacher. Art Canada Institute authors Jessica Bradley, Mary O’Connor, and John G. Hatch discuss what these three women had in common and why you should know their names.
