McMichael launches “The Art of Canada”
Ian Dejardin curates show with collection favourites
Ian Dejardin, executive director of the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, is curating a show with his personal favourites from the permanent collection. The exhibition The Art of Canada: Director’s Cut will run from December 9, 2017, to November 18, 2018, and showcase the beauty and diversity of art in Canada. The work of Anishinaabe artist Norval Morrisseau will be prominently featured, as an important part of the institution’s history.
